Ponte alle Grazie, now an imprint of Adriano Salani Editore, was established in Florence at the end of the 1980s and acquired by the Longanesi Group in 1993. Ponte alle Grazie is home to some of the most original high-quality titles in fiction and non-fiction alike, across a variety of genres, among them literary fiction, popular science (with a focus on psychotherapy and the neurosciences), politics, current affairs, travel books and cookery titles. Its roll call of authors includes Margaret Atwood, Philippe Claudel, Noam Chomsky, David Mamet, Michel Onfray, Hanne Ørstavik, Ann Patchett, Mark Slouka, Sarah Waters, Benjamin Wood and Slavoj Žižek.
