Duomo Ediciones was founded in September 2008 in Barcelona, publishing its first titles in May 2009. Duomo brings out some 48 titles a year in three main series. The first, “Nefelibata“, covers strong contemporary fiction from international authors such as Andre Agassi, Marco Balzano, Tracy Chevalier, Donatella Di Pietrantonio, Ángeles González-Sinde, J.R. Moehringer, Emilio Ortiz, Elizabeth Strout and Abraham B. Yehoshua, meeting with both critical acclaim and commercial success. The second one, “Los imperdibles”, covers genre fiction, ranging from historical fiction to thrillers and detective novels, with best-selling authors like Donato Carrisi, Marcos Chicot, Conn Iggulden, James Patterson and Wilbur Smith. In 2017 Duomo published its first children’s book, Olga de papel by acclaimed author Elisabetta Gnone. Other writers in the list are Andrea Camilleri, Richard Scarry and successful books like Cuentos para niños que sueñan con cambiar el mundo. These series aside, Duomo publishes important writers like Stan Lee, some illustrated books, including El hombre que plantaba árboles by Jean Giono, and non-fiction titles that stand out for their originality and unique perspective. Duomo addresses readers of all ages, harnessing new technologies in communication and marketing, and takes good care of its authors, nurturing their creativity and boosting their careers.
